A Day for The Children of Incarcerated Parents and Those At Risk

FFOIPThe 5th Annual Concerned Fathers Public Safety Community Event was organized by Family and Friends of Incarcerated People (FFOIP) on Saturday, August 14, 2010 and was held in River Terrace Park at Benning Road and Anacostia Avenue in NE, Washington DC. The event was to benefit the children of incarcerated parents and those who may be at risk.  From 12pm to 7pm families and their children people partook in activities designed to:

•    Create harmony among our children
o    Rebuild our communities
•    Pass on valuable information
o    Express ideas on how to help at-risk-youth
•    Share a wonderful unselfish act of love
o    Be for the safety of our community

1. Concerned Fathers Annual Picnic     

5th Annual Concerned Fathers Public Safety Community Event was organized by Family and Friends of Incarcerated People, Saturday, August 14, 2010 and was held in River Terrace Park at Benning Road and Anacostia Avenue in NE, Washington DC.
